It sounds like it would require a lot of energy in order to compact the snow hard enough so that it is not transformed to "car snot".
I suspect that if the wheel with the most weight on it at the same time is the driving wheel will make the bike/trike "plow" through the snow much easier. Hence probably a delta trike with the most of the weight over the driving rear wheels would go easier through snow than a traditional tadpole trike. The wheels that just drags through the snow should have the least weight on them, and that is not the case with the tadpole trike. Anyone has got another opinion about that?
