I'm working on a cross-platform app using React Native and looking to integrate push notifications. Can anyone recommend the best services (like Firebase or OneSignal) for this? Also, how do you handle permissions on iOS vs. Android?

Any tips on managing background notifications or deep linking across platforms would be great.
