Good luck Dick, its nice to listen to your ambitions to start with 30-35 km/h in order to increase, I suppose, later on. However, remember that there are speed limits on all public roads in Sweden. Rounding Vättern is a pleasure and all pleasures enhance if consumed leisurely. So, I'll start in a recumbent laid-back way in order to, if neccessary, slow down later on.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but as far as I know there are no speed-limits for cyclists in Sweden as long as you do not endanger other traffic. There is no obligation to have a speedometer attached to your bike.
