Hi,
I just noticed this thread. First of all I hope it is alright if I post here in English (my Swedish is not so good) and that I post here at all. I will try to keep the commercial spam to a minimum :)
I read your discussion on the photo. The photo is real and taken in my workshop. When the bike was designed we designed it for 26" wheels as the default wheel size. The main reason for this is that I want shorter riders to also be able to touch the ground with their full feet instead of having to tiptoe. On the other side I also wanted to be able to deliver the bike with 700c to give racers a better choice of wheels. When the frame arrived I had to try it with 700c wheels (indeed those my time trial bike hanging in the background) and did not adjust the brakes... just left the 26" vbrakes in there. Good spot!
When the bike is introduced you will have the following options: - vbrakes on 26" using the normal pivots - rim/race brakes on 700c - discbrakes on 26" (and 700c but I don't now many 700c wheels with disc hubs) - vbrakes on 700c using extenders from Mavic or vbrakes like the Paul Moto BMX
