বাংলা সংস্কৃতি ও ঐতিহ্যের অন্যতম প্রধান উৎসব হলো পহেলা বৈশাখ। এটি বাংলা নববর্ষের প্রথম দিন, অর্থাৎ নতুন বছরের সূচনা। প্রতি বছর ১৪ এপ্রিল (বাংলা ১লা বৈশাখ) এই দিনটি বাংলাদেশের প্রতিটি প্রান্তে আনন্দ-উৎসবের মধ্য দিয়ে উদযাপিত হয়। তাই স্কুলের রচনায় বা পরীক্ষায় প্রায়ই ছাত্রছাত্রীদের “পহেলা বৈশাখ অনুচ্ছেদ” লিখতে বলা হয়, কারণ এই উৎসব আমাদের জাতীয় ঐতিহ্যের প্রতীক। এই দিনে মানুষ পুরোনো বছরের সব দুঃখ-গ্লানি ভুলে নতুন বছরের স্বপ্ন দেখে। সকালেই মানুষ নতুন পোশাক পরে বের হয়, কেউ পরে লাল-সাদা শাড়ি, কেউ পাঞ্জাবি-পায়জামা। ঢাকায় রমনার বটমূলে ছায়ানটের অনুষ্ঠান, গ্রামে মেলা, নাগরদোলা, মুখোশ আর পান্তা-ইলিশ খাওয়া—সবকিছু মিলে এক আনন্দঘন পরিবেশ তৈরি করে। দোকানদাররা করে “হালখাতা” উৎসব, যেখানে তারা পুরোনো হিসাব মিটিয়ে নতুন খাতা খোলে। পহেলা বৈশাখ শুধু আনন্দের উৎসব নয়, এটি আমাদের ঐক্য, সংস্কৃতি আর স্বকীয়তার প্রতীক। ধর্ম, বর্ণ বা জাতিগত বিভেদ ভুলে সবাই একসঙ্গে উদযাপন করে এই দিনটি। স্কুল-কলেজে, অফিসে, কিংবা রাস্তার মেলায়—সব জায়গাতেই বাজে ঢাকের আওয়াজ, বাজে “শুভ নববর্ষ” ধ্বনি। আজকের শিশু-কিশোররা যেন জানে, পহেলা বৈশাখ কেবল মেলা বা পোশাক পরার দিন নয়, এটি আমাদের জাতীয় পরিচয়ের অংশ। তাই এই উৎসবের মাধ্যমে আমরা শিখি নতুন করে শুরু করা, পরিশ্রম করা, আর মানবিক মূল্যবোধকে গুরুত্ব দেওয়া। সংক্ষেপে বলা যায়, পহেলা বৈশাখ আমাদের জীবনে নতুন আনন্দ, নতুন উদ্দীপনা আর আশার আলো নিয়ে আসে। এটি আমাদের সংস্কৃতির প্রাণস্পন্দন, যা প্রতি বছর আমাদের হৃদয়ে নবজাগরণের বার্তা পৌঁছে দেয়। Read More:- https://bit.ly/4ahXLRi
