And above 70 km/h on downhills... must be on the countryside...
I've been above 70km/h downhill.. in Häckeberga (Romeleåsen).. one of the trails frequently used by mtb:ers has a hill that never stops (it's more like a wall).. I've been up to 55+ km/h _without_pedalling_ (measured by a bicycle-computer) and I always give it all I've got on that descent..
(It's not a paved road either, just a stony path/road - and yes.. countryside (o: )
I reckon the police is not there, on the stony path. Probably they caught the poor girl on a downhill where the cars usually go to fast too.
Without having specifically checked, I'll assume that bikes, too, are covered by speed limits.
they are, and if you exceed it too much you might be endangering your drivers license (or atleast so I've gathered).
Then you have to go (at least) more than 30 km/h over the limit... except where the limit is 30 km/h - there driving 50 km/h with a car will have your license revoked.
But as I (not) said earlier, this is a _big_ problem... the places where you can reach these speeds, either is the police not interested or it is a place where the limit is high enough, or the situation allows it. Except for the poor girl.
