I agree recent tags seem missing there, even though it does have the latest commits, and tags have propageted to the gitlab mirror, see https://gitlab.com/gnutls/nettle/-/tags.
I'm afraid I have little clue about the github mirror (set up as a "push mirror" from gitlab.com).
