Zine publication question

I have a question about zine publication. Here's the scenario. My father has written a book - it's not B7 related (unfortunately) - and he wants to publish it. The reason I'm asking about this here is that the scale of it is similar to some B7 zines. The specifications: It's approximately 100 pages (A4 double-sided, so that's around 50 pieces of paper). There are a further ten pages of colour maps that need to be included (possibly as single-sided inserts). There's also a simple cover (obviously). We only have a low-ish quality inkjet printer; so I suggested that he can get the book reproduced at a print shop; he wants about thirty copies with binding (for which we also don't have the facilities). The book exists currently as a Microsoft Word file; he also has a hard copy ready for me to proof-read for him. If he decides to go to a print shop, roughly how much would they charge for reproduction and binding? Also, what format would they need the book? Hard copy, or data file? Many thanks Wildean

Blake and co. could have a Bonfire celebration Avon would make a Servalan doll to burn on the fire, although Blake would try to remind him that Guy Fawkes tried to blow up Parliament. Avon wouldn't care, Servalan having outdone his costume at the ball-for-all. Where each side secretly tried to kill the other. Dayna would make the fireworks, every-one else would run as she put too much powder in it. Vila would make toffee apples or at least try but end up using the apples to make Cider and so would give the toffee to the others. Gan would have some nice sensible sparkles, but put them on a cake which he made for everyone. Jenna would buy some large Catherine Wheels which she would then use the liberator to set off in space. Cally would either hate the waste of a possible destructive force against the Federation or think it a good reason for them all to be at peace. Soolin would pretend to be disinterested and then thoroughly enjoy it. Orac would find the idea of fireworks interesting and insist they let fireworks off for so long, they all grow tired and fire Orac into space on a large firework. Bonfire night

Just been to a bonfire night event (ie for non-Brits - fireworks etc to celebrate attempt 1605 to blow up Parliament) with brother, sister in law & their two children (three month old slept through it all) Not something that would be celebrated in Federation times (g). Is it true that such festivities generate a significant portion of the year's air pollution? And the way it's ditched after Traitor until Warlord (surely Our Heroes should have been concentrating on spreading the antidote around rather than collecting headless androids and Ogs?) Basically, it's an insult to the viewers - the worst one in the series, IMO.
