I hope this makes sense. My brain was somewhat fried by an attempt to watch Animals without hitting the fast forward button at any point. Sadly, this weak and inadequate vessel was unable to complete more than half the task... Wonderful wonderful episode and Our Heroes all look gorgeous, dress beautifully (even Callys dress looks pretty good, in a Cally-ish way) and act and sound like intelligent (if - in Blake's case, rather bull-headed) human beings. And the moon discs may not be as - ummm - eye-catching and memorable as Og, but they're probably rather soothing to have around ... Chronicles 66 now available

Roll up! Roll up! I have great pleasure in announcing that issue 66 of Chronicles, the long-running B7 genzine is now available from Susan Batho, for the entertainment of all and sundry. A4 format, 60 pages. Content includes "A Message for Marric" (s1) by Geraldine Pragnell, "A Question of Loyalty" (s4) by the Lysts' own Marian de Haan, and "Lifeline" (s4) by Alison Glover. There is also some poetry, art, and even page numbers! How much would you expect to pay for all that?!? But wait, there's more! If you order now, we'll even send it in a personally-addressed envelope, just like the classy zines do! The cost (in Australian dollars) is $5 per issue plus p&p as follows: Within Australia: $1.50 Rest of the world: $4.50 (Airmail) All cheques/drafts/money orders must be made in Australian currency, but remember the exchange rate is very favourable for overseas readers. Even Keiller can be tolerated (he does end up dead, as you will recall). I just have to ask myself if the music on the Space Princess and Avon's maniacal laughter at the end of the episode cancels out Vila getting the opportunity to look very good and behave rather more masterfully than he would have the chance to normally (the "it's your lucky day" bit). On the whole, I think it's not too bad a choice. I am surprised, now that I think of it, that you didn't mention Gambit (and that I didn't think of it, for that matter). In my present state, I am deeply in sympathy with Jarriere...
