Naturally, to buy and sell on the black market is an offence, but I wonder what category it would be. Knowing that Jenna got a life sentence for smuggling, well... you could get exiled to Exbar for shopping. N.

Julia's suggestion is seconded, Yawn or Dawn, it is quite pretty (albeit the last time we see the Lobster Top, one thing I *didn't* weep for when the Liberator went bust); The first half of Voice is very very pretty, and the second part is *definitely* better if you don't have to listen to Le Grande, and can squint past Travis in bandages. You could rent The Prisoner and imagine it's Avon or one of the others in the Village. Actually, their different reactions to being there might be interesting. Blake, upon waking up in the sinister village with its facade of pleasantness and learning they want to pump him for information and warp him around to their way of thinking - "Oh, no. Not again." Vila - "Information? What information? Do you want this on a single page or in triplicate?" Avon - Actually, it's an even bet whether he gets stubborn and decides to die rather than be forced into doing something or whether he simply asks how much they're paying for what he knows. RE: Chronicles 66 now available

CHRONICLES 66 now available I already have my copy of CHRONICLES 66 and I must say that I especially like the cover. Whenever you get your copy of CHRONICLES 66, be sure to check it out carefully. Andrew was particularly imaginative when he created it. CHRONICLES 67--the Blake issue I hope some of you writers interested in Blake or in Avon and Blake do submit stories for the Blake issue which Andrew says he hopes will come out this December or January. I would assume then that Andrew is hoping for some more stories to come in by this September and October. I'm definitely looking forward to this issue. CHRONICLES is a genzine. Am I right in thinking no other genzine has had such a long run with so many issues? Besides the 66 issues so far, I believe there have been four annuals, the annuals being much bigger zines. Joyce
