I've stolen the soul of the B7 actors and I'm plotting a vast conspiracy of mindless android fans who will do anything I say by sheer will of my vastly superior and cunning brain. I'm living in the same house as Annie Wortham for the past 12 years and using the same computer as she, but I'm emailing her pornographic spam messages, and she can't possibly figure this out, even though she's worked as a computer genius for the same major corporation for over 20 years. The artistic aspect of the TV production process is something I'm really very interested in For example I had an email off another list this morning, nothing to do with B7, from a script-writer on 'The Bill', about just the same topic. I am learning a lot from my various email friends. I really wanted DM to provide some input on this, just like Leslie did, and just like my other screenwriter friends and correspondents. Now I realise it might have looked as if I was inviting him to join sides in the fight. I've re-read my email and I can see it might well have looked like that. I apologise to him and everyone else for giving that impression. I don't want to fight. I want to find out new opinions. But I think, on seeing how things have developed since, that this was just the wrong time and place, and I'll discuss this topic on other lists only. Alison

Stands to reason that if you are in constant contact with something that anthropomorphic, you will start treating them as human without even thinking about it (how many of us anthropomorphise our pets?). Jenny, you may as well categorise me too. Which am I: Wolf or Sheep or other? (Please don't say 'Cow' for I am an ex-Dairy Farmer). You and Shane have raised the following points: Fan-Fiction is either out of control or under the control of the wrong people; unFreedom sometimes poses as Freedom, or evil is really imprisonment in its myriad forms; and some posters are really the same person using more than one internet alias, you are intent on exposing the 'camouflage'. In addition to these points the issues of Leylan's niceness or otherwise, and of Gan's niceness or otherwise have been raised. Do I understand these matters correctly? DC, who appears for judgment but will remain onlyst for now
