The following looks entirely bogus to me. Whatever the problem is, it can hardly be there. pmod compilation & inherits

Hi, Does anyone have any clue what I'm doing wrong here ? The directly involved files are: RemoteObjectModel.pmod/ module.pmod Proxy.pike Service.pike ServerObject.pike ClientObject.pike In proxy, I have a class that inherits ServerObject, which it fails for here. But if I change it from inherit .ServerObject; to inherit "ServerObject.pike"; // works nice but then there's the next problem: if I add another file in this directory and tries to access it from module.pmod with .Foo (i.e. for Foo.pike) it fails with the same error as below (but with different names, naturally) I've tried to build up a similar situation with simple files, and there it works just fine. Any clues? Pike version: 7.6.25 <side-issue> If I would like to use the `-> and `[] lfun's in module.pmod, how do I resolve the modules/programs further down the tree? tried to `return ::`->( arg )' but didn't seem to work.. </side-issue> (sorry for lengthy log, not sure what information is relevant and not...) Compiler segfault

Bison 2.0 build issue

I'm pretty sure this error comes from the use of bison 2.0 since a similar system that uses bison 1.875 works. Compiling language.c y.tab.c:382: error: two or more data types in declaration of `yyss' y.tab.c:500: error: two or more data types in declaration of `yyprhs' y.tab.c:568: error: two or more data types in declaration of `yyrhs' y.tab.c:762: error: two or more data types in declaration of `yyrline' y.tab.c:919: error: two or more data types in declaration of `yyr1' y.tab.c:1057: error: two or more data types in declaration of `yydefact' [...more of the same...] This in turn is caused by: #define short int The code contains statements such as: short int yyss; which of course gets turned into int int. The old version of bison generates code which uses "short" instead of "short int". What is the correct solution? Remove the define or post-process the file, replacing "short int" with "int" using sed or similar?

hi, from time to time i have been wondering if it would not be nice i i could do: foo[3,7,4,2]; and have that return an array ({ foo[3], foo[7], foo[4], foo[2] }) today i thought about this problem once more and i just had the revelation that i could do: foo[ ({ 3,7,4,2 })[*] ]; to produce the desired result. to some of you this may be an old hat, but to me it was a pleasant surprize. pike never ceases to amaze me! thanks guys! greetings, martin.

Pike & MinGW

I thought I'd try my hand at compiling a MinGW pike. I installed nilsson's MinGW package as well as Pike 7.6.24 and had my paths alll set up properly. I had to run bison manually, as the MinGW package i'm using didn't have it, so I modified the makefile to skip over that bit. I also had problems configuring in SQLite, as there are missing source files apparently.
