Blake seems focused on bringing the Federation down. He doesn't seem to be giving much thought to the future form of the govenment in case he succeeds.

Which, I'm sorry, bad plan--and naive. Even the Federation isn't so bad that something much worse can't rise in its place. After all, the Federation controls the infrastructure. Replace it with, say, a bunch of petty little dictators who refuse to cooperate with each other and pretty soon the population starts starving to death and wishing for the good old days when Servalan was in charge.
