Hm, but the majority of the Richard III fans I knew when I was active (apart from a few devil's advocates) went for the complete whitewash of Richard, who turned out to be some sort of saint, and a complete New Man
in sexual politics too. Whereas Avon fans tend to treasure the ambiguity.
