Well, there's the question... if this list was the result of a poll, then what were the actual *choices* people were offered in the first place? None of the things that were in this top ten were recent, they were all 70s and 80s shows -- and maybe that was one of the selection criteria; "Which of the following SF shows from the 70s & 80s do you like best?". In which case B5 and Farscape wouldn't have got a look in in the first place. Does anyone know whether this is the case?
