I am plugging ONLY because Tereth Dragonstar complained about not being able to find and someone suggested ebay, neglecting Amazon.com Marketplace.

I found the Tony Attwood programme guide and the three Trevor Hoyle novels there. (The novels BTW are based on scripts, written before casting was done - Vila was small dark and ugly, Avon had pale eyes and a high forehead, Dorian had long black hair.) You can search Z-shops from amazon.com or amazon.co.uk and I believe you can still find the books I bought. The Hoyle books are based on screened episodes, but they do have the occasional cut scene (e.g. the toast scene between Vila and Soolin, where Soolin said she comes from a planet other than GP). I have not yet found 'Afterlife', but wouldn't mind checking it out for completion. Oh BTW there's another programme guide called something like 'Blakes 7 - a critical analysis' by someone other than Attwood, can't remember who, but it's terrible - full of mistakes, and not at all well-written. I was incredibly surprised to go to abebooks.com and find NOT ONE copy of Afterlife. (And we're talking an association of 8800 used book dealers!) I can only assume that everyone who ever had a copy burned it.... <g>

OT: PC horrors

The crashing PC seems to have been endemic in recent weeks - my own PC fell over (not with a bang, with a whimper) at the end of November. I finally have a PC (not my PC) up and running again. I've picked up all my email since that date, but the contents of my inbox before that date are currently languishing on a hard drive to which I have no access and for which I have increasingly forlorn hopes. If you've emailed me and I haven't answered, a big sorry, and do send the email again. What a drag. Still, it was interesting chipping bits of my thesis onto stone. Una
