This holds true for me, too. After so many years as a Blakes 7 fan,
discussing each episode in minute detail, going waaaay back to the Stone Age
of paper letterzines, I find that I have little to say about the series
itself anymore. Alternate realities, twists of fate, "what-ifs", and internal
motivations/dialogue interest me much more these days. Plus, fanzines and fan
fiction have always been my favorite thing about any fandom I've been
interested in. So, it's hardly surprising that my continued interest in
"older" fandoms like Blakes 7 revolves mostly around that aspect of the
fandom. It's also been a while since I had the time to sit down and actually
watch the show or even the desire to do so.
But I think it's great that others do still talk about the series all of
these years later. I just don't often feel the urge to join in on those types
of discussions.
