Was just browsing through a children's book (Broken Sky #6) and came across two lines that would fit perfectly in a B7 story (which is not to suggest anything else in the story, which is strongly Anime inspired, would). "Err . . . so explain to me again why I got volunteered for this when I got one of the long straws." And, in another scene a character is facing a difficult decision while claiming not to _really_ care about the people involved, not _personally_. "The combination of solitude and denial did wonders for his concentration." Well, that is Avon's MO.
