Regular consumers of porn show a marked tendency to be more callous towards women and to minimize rape as a criminal offense. It has been shown frequently to have a key role in the break down of inhibitions and restraint in the sexual abuse of juveniles. It negatively impacts marriage and family life. Consumers of porn are more likely to have distorted views of human sexuality and to view infidelity and multiple partners as acceptable. Addiction can occur causing to an increased need for stimulation to be sexually aroused, ironically damaging _real_ relationships which are no longer satisfying. Twenty years ago, the acting out of certain sexual behaviors by preadolescents was unheard of in cases where the child had not been sexually abused. Now, it is proof of a television in the home. The likely time and stages a teenager will go through before becoming sexually active in a relationship has also decreased. Are there porn addicts willing to spend hours a day viewing the stuff? Absolutely. Have they been willing to sacrifice family and marriage? Yes. Risk or lose jobs? Yes. Risk legal repurcussions including jail time? Yes. Take these same risks again despite the previous costs? Yes. Ob.B7. I doubt Cally would have approved. Well, corn syrup works wonderfully for some candies but, in the eternal quest for the legendary 'something chocolate with the density of plutonium,' refined sugar (and eggs) is the way to go. Hmm, I've always _thought_ Cally was a healthy eater, but I wonder. A lot of thin types _inhale_ calories without it ever showing. Maybe her real reason for leaving Auron was a secret quest for Servalan and Jarrierre's Tope Secret Desert cookbook, the one Travis got lost his arm and eye in the attempt to steal (before Servalan had his memory modified so he blamed Blake [but his real, unconscious desire is the basket full of Godiva chocolates she promised him if he succedes. Then, he found out that Andromedan shape changing technology can do _anything_ with even a mediocre dessert recipe). This is a straight, honest question to which I would appreciate an equally honest answer. If anyone would prefer to reply off-Lyst then I will preserve their anonymity. I reserve the right not to believe anyone who I think might be misinformed or deliberately lying, but will still preserve anonymity if they wish, no matter who they are or what they say. I may cite replies in future argument, but will not 'out' anyone who answers off-Lyst. Julie has now referred several times to pornographic art of characters performing sexual acts. I have never seen such artwork. I have seen plenty of nudes rendered with varying degrees of artistic talent, but not once I have seen any involving two characters doing anything explicit. I can't even recall any nude art depicting two characters doing so much as look at each other. On the other hand, I can understand that some of the more extreme work might be very carefully circulated around a just as carefully chosen clique. Perhaps the likes of me have been deliberately sheltered from what may offend or may be misused to attack its afficionados. So my question is: Does such art exist? A straight yes or no will suffice, though any further comments on quantity, style, subject matter, availability etc would be appreciated. Neil
