I'm intrigued and will have to look again! Thank you very much. I think all the female characters except Servalan were very badly served by the writers (and let's not even mention that bastard Ben Steed). And I'm convinced that Avon's "sunray suit" (Assassin-Gold) was Soolin's originally, but somehow got mixed up with Dorian's clothes. Of course Avon would choose it on the strength of it being the most outrageous outfit available. And I can imagine Soolin keeping quiet about it and enjoying the joke in silence :-) Marian

Season 4 clothes - why so few?

In the first 3 seasons the crew had a clothes room, which enabled them to change clothes several times a day. But what about season 4? Most of them wear only two or so outfits each (I'm taking a guess from memory here) in the whole season. Avon wears black, and seems to have compelled the others to dress in greys (a uniform?) Now in 'Power' they're all worried about there being no food. They'd have to make food runs to other planets regularly to get supplies. Couldn't they buy clothes too? And how did they keep outfits they wore for days on end clean, esp. after being in the glycolene tank? What do they do? Strip off and fling all their clothes into an ultra-fast dry-cleaning machine, then stand, naked and shivering, waiting for their clothes to be ejected all clean, pressed and folded?
