Because there had been a shut down for four hours, when they resumed schedules a lot of the planes were not in the place they should be. When they went to get our plane to taxi it to the gate, it wasn't there. They eventually located it elsewhere in the airport. The imagery of the person who went to get it is amusing (think of going to a car park to find you car is stolen and you are looking at an empty lot, now up that image to a missing aeroplane).
