Please please please for the sakes of Everyone's sanity can we kill this 'discussion' ?
It is utterly pointless to discuss matters between two people neither of whom are on this list. Not to mention exceptionally dull.
What does it matter if they are not on the lyst? Avon isn't on the lyst be we talk about him all the time. Besides Judith Proctor is on the lyst and so my point about her being as bright as a plank of wood is a good one. Why don't we all ring up Steven Grief next and ask him how he would feel about appearing in some pornographic drawing with Brian Croucher? Would it count as self abuse?

That isn't a "point." It's a "personal insult."
If you have a point of view you hope to persuade others to adopt, resorting to insults is not the way to go about it.
Especially when your target is a woman who was majorly responsible for producing a Con that so many Lyst members have just finished enjoying, and who has done many other things to benefit fans and fandom for years and years.

Susan Beth said, very properly (about something I am not going to dignify by repetition):

to insults is not the way to go about it.
The general level of civility is much higher when we talk about imaginary people rather than real ones, so why don't we stick to that?

Why ask us? You seem to be the expert on the subject.
