:-) Much as I'd like to invent heaps of increasingly absurd dictator-style Days of Celebration (President's Birthday, memroial days for a few military and very dead heroes, and a general Space Command dominated Remembrance Day, of course. Numerous large-scale rallies in celebrations and thanksgiving for all the joys of being Federated, oh yes. Anniversaries of every Outer World - errmmm - gathered into the fold (?) etc etc) I tend to doubt that there was actually many of any official or even officially tolerated such holidays in the Inner Worlds, at least - after all, they ain't going to celebrate very convincingly if you keep pumping the drugs into the cakes and ale, now are they?

And in the Outer Worlds, I have a feeling any celebrations they'd *want* to have would not be at all to the Powers-That-Be's taste ...
