I agree, the relucant hero was a interesting plot move, but the writers didn't seem to explore the demon-killing potential, instead choosing to bring up the whole Spike/Buffy how-to-split-your-fanbase storyline. Maybe it's still to come.. As for Spike being 'the Avon of Buffydom', I'd never considered that, but it is strangely accurate! I definitely have a subconscious leaning towards similar characters....

I would discuss all this Buffy stuff more but the moderator has spoken, so I'll shut up now :o)
