Well, no doubt there is a long and fascinating philosophical debate there, but the basic point is that Vila *doesn't* say 'I guess'. And neither does anyone else in all 52 episodes, at least as far as the transcripts are concerned. So, whenever I read an 'I guess' in a fic, it catches my attention and break the flow of the story
