Up to the end of season 3, 11 times. He gets clobbered quite regularly in seasons 1 and 2. Not that it seems to affect him much! At this point, he's very resilient.
Yes - he's lost Cally, the last person who'd shown him any sympathy, and Avon has become much colder and withdrawn (poss. due to the loss of Cally and the Liberator). Avon's now quite ruthless, using Vila and Dayna as bait etc. His put-downs are now real insults rather than banter (even when Vila's near to death in 'Sand') and the others enjoy joining in.
Actually, I think Vila is one of the most tragic characters in the series - basically such a nice, likeable, guy, but eventually abused to the point of misery, loneliness, and possible alcoholism. I find his death harder to take because he deserved more out of life to start with. So I console myself by writing him happy PGP endings. :-)

Vila does seem to get more than his fair share of getting knocked about. Mind you what with Tarrant and Avon shoving him about, he gets almost as much grief from the crew as from the assorted bad guys.

I think he's about the only one who ever even mentions Cally's death after _Rescue_
And then he spends the entirety of s4 having a completely miserable time.
