Some of the following have been mentioned already, but I make no apologies because they're so good. :-)
1. Space Fall: Blake working so hard to persuade Avon to help him while Avon has already decided it's his best option but makes Blake sweat for it anyway.
2. Time Squad: The first flight deck fireworks.
3. Seek-Locate-Destroy: Rontane and Bercol. Also that first scene with Servalan and Travis.
4. Bounty: Vila preparing himself to carry out the "personal investigation".
5. Deliverance: "That seems a poor reward somehow." Avon showing unexpected humbleness.
6. Shadow: "The next one will go right down your throat!" Cally at her most ruthless.
7. Horizon: Avon's dithering until he has a face-saving reason for rescuing the others.
8. Pressure Point: Gan's death. Not so much the fact that it was Gan, but that one of the heroes could die and stay dead.
9. Trial: "Avon's gadget works!" And Avon's reaction.
10. Gambit: Avon and Vila taking the opportunity for some naughtiness behind Blake's back.
11. Star One: "Be informative, and I may let you die. You'll want that after I've shot off an arm and a leg or two." Avon at his most ruthless.
12. Star One (again): "Avon, this is stupid!" "When did that ever stop us?" Sums up the series.
13. Volcano: Avon deceiving Mori with his "guided tour of the Liberator".
14. Volcano (again): Avon fighting a space battle on his own and being comforted by Vila after getting wounded.
15. City: Bayban being miffed about Blake beating him as most wanted criminal.
16. Sarcophagus: Avon being considerate towards Cally - in his own unique way :-)
17. Sarcophagus (again): Avon defying the alien. "Make me die. There's nothing else you can make me do." On first watching this I was quite shocked that Avon was so brave. :-) (Oh, those fond memories of watching the show for the first time and not knowing what will happen next!)
18. Assassin: Avon telling Tarrant he'll back him, then sitting back while Tarrant gets a beating.
19. Warlord: Soolin's smile when Avon threatens to sacrifice her if his alliance with Zukan requires it. She's not impressed.
20. Blake: The last five minutes make the whole series unforgettable.
And much, much more.

Yes, yes, yes ! Can I go back and change my own list please ?
I admit it.
Doctor Who is better than Blakes 7. (The difference is barely measurable. But it is greater? By a marginal degree...yes)
1. Terminal. Opening shot: Avon looking knackered, hands over his eyes.
2. Star One. Avon's reaction or non-reaction) to Blake admitting his trust.
3. Terminal. Again. Avon's expression when Servalan tells him about Blake's absence. His face goes from confusion to shock before proceeding to homicidal rage.
4. Breakdown. When the crew are fighting with Gan at the beginning, Blake calls for the medical kit. It then looks like they use the medical kit to whack Gan on the head. (I know that Cally's got the kit, but that's what it looks like)
5. Another Avon moment. In 'Harvest of Kairos' I love the way the crew stop what they're doing when Avon causes an explosion. And then all he says is "Sorry."
6. Gan's costume in 'Redemption'
7. Avon's dismay at discovering that the Federation have duplicated his gadget.
8. The "It's an old wall, Avon. It waits. I hope you don't die before you reach it."
9. "Who?" (Stardrive)
10. Avon and Tarrant's reactions to Vila's pink asteroids line. (Rescue)
11. Servalan's story in "Sand." That was the one time I believe she told the absolute truth.
12. "Sand" again. I love the way that Tarrant and Servalan jump at the sound fo the food machine.
13. The idea of Travis and Blake throwing nuts at each other in "Duel"
14. Avon finding Cally's moon disc and reacting like he's just trodden in moon disc poo.
15. "I shall come out in a rash!" Bounty?
16. Orac laughing as he tells the others that their lovely purple money is worthless.
17. "She is my mother!"
18. "His name is Blake. His name WAS Blake"
19. Avon being told exactly what is going to happen (and not realising) to him in "The Logic of Empire"
20. "Never ask a man with a spade where he's been." "Oh." - Kelso and Elise from "Logic of Empire"
I've actually tried to avoid the obvious moments. "Blake", Zen's death, Orac the speak-your-weight machine - I wonder if he could have worked out Vila's personality problems to ten decimal places as well.

I'd forgotten about TLoE. I'd add the very end of it to my list too (hmm, this is becoming rather more than twenty). I'd also add getting a bunch of Horizon newsletters and A:ATA mail order from the Sheffield Space Centre. I'd been starved for B7 for 10 years, and it was bloody thrilling to get them.

Well, I won't give spoilers, just in case others haven't heard it, but the very last scene, up to and including the last line.

That is the problem with TLoE - it has a twist ending & knowing not everybody has heard it. (g)

A:ATA and TLoE after a 10 year hiatus? Seems like a poor return, somehow.

Unfortunately, Blakes 7 does have the occasional moment when you realise that you are just watching a TV programme, rather than losing yourself in a world if intrigue, good dialogue and leather trousers.
To that end, here are a few of my moments.
1. "My God! I've forgotten how to read!!!" Paul Daneman gave a good performance in the episode "Killer". Unfortunately this, his last line, is awful.
2. "I can't remember!!!! (remember...remember...remember...remember...)" Unless Blake is attempting to recollect his Womble status, I think the endless echoing of the word detracts from the situation, rather than trying to signify Blake's mental turmoil. ("The Way Back")
3. "I am the servant of your God, Kneel!" I never fail to hear this line as "...servant of your god, Neil" Also, later in "Cygnus Alpha", the situation gets me confused every time. Vargas, after his teleportation up to Liberator, materialises in (presumably) the teleport bay, but then walks forward, out of the teleport, towards the teleport. Unless there's another bay behind the console. But you knew all this already!
4. In "Mission to Destiny, we're given a massive clue about the identity of the killer. Dr Kendall tells Blake that the Neutrotope is kept in a safe to which ONLY HE knows the combination. Then (and I'm sorry if I'm spoiling things here) he sends Sara off to get it from the safe.
5. No specific episode for this, but one thing that annoys me is the varying pronunciation of the name "Servalan".
We have the standard "SERVE-a-lan", "SEVVA-lohn" (but that's in a french accent so that's not too bad; "SERVER-l'n" from Travis II; "Se-VALAN" and the most annoying of all, "Sleer". (I've spelt these phoenetically, capitals denoting emphasis)
But to get back to prsising the series, I've remembered an addition to my twenty "good" moments.
In the episode "Weapon", the first few minutes concentrate on Bek and Hanna. They make their arrangements in the corridor, and then part. I really like the way that through the window we can see Liberator arriving.

Apparently this is an example of the writer and script editor providing a coherent story, and the director then deciding that making things go bang is a lot more fun... Or less frivolously, there's a bit of explanatory footage missing wherein Vargas materialises, then goes to a position where he can cover both the console and the teleport bay. How true any of this actually is I have no idea, as I can't remember whether I heard it as fan speculation or in interviews with one of those who were in a position to know.

I can resist anything except temptation so here goes.
1. The automatic doors in The Way Back which had to be opened by hand. 2. Shaving Foam used as a sealant in Space Fall 3. Brian Blessed in Cygnus Alpha 4. Attack of the Rebel Flares in Time Squad 5. The Web 6. The Security Robot in SLD and Project Avalon 7. Attack of the killer cable in Redemption 8. The fight scenes in Hostage 9. Voices from the Past 10. Bruce Purchase in the Keeper 11. The Andromedan Space Fleet in Star One/ Aftermath 12. The massive anti-climax when they get down the black hole in Dawn of the Gods and the ease with which they escape. 13. Jarvik 14. Ultraworld. 15. Moloch - The Teddy Bear from Hell 16. Og and Justin. And the rather pointless "no it still doesn't work. Back you go Vila." scenes. 17. "My Word Vila, that's a corpses head on top of that Android. Why the dickens didn't we notice that". 18. Vampire Sand. 19. The Tachyon Funnel. Oh yeah, like they were ever in danger of walking off with that. Besides it looks like a Space Invaders console. 20. The Warlord "extreme hair and outfit contest" chaired, appropriately enough, by Avon. What happened there ? Did Nicholas Rocker realise that he'd underspent the costume budget or something ? Still I'm glad they got all the cheese out of their system before Blake.
Please don't throw things at me
Who us ?
Stephen.
