Probably put in the list because it wasn't a *deliberate* slice of reality, but it's one of my favourite moments in Animals.

Funnily enough, he was. One of the hardest skills to master in acting is really responding to what is really happening in the moment. A bad actor, having hurt his wrist in a fall, would pretend it hadn't happened and carry on doing exactly what he had planned to do in rehearsal. A good actor acknowledges the hurt wrist, and allows it to influence his performance.
