Trying and failing, methinks - Avon doesn't like watersports, remember? Now Tarrant would probably be in it like a shot and would be last seen clinging to a lifebuoy, confidently waiting for his loyal crewmates to come to his rescue ...
Gan would be manning the BBQ.
Blake would be a lifeguard, dividing his time between rescuing others and needing rescue himself. Jenna would be first volunteer on the latter duty.
Cally would find a way to talk to the seashells.
Dayna will have even more difficulty than normal working out how to hide very large explosives inside a very very small bikini. Her reaction when Vila offered to assist would not be pretty.
Soolin would wear a nice sensible grey swimsuit, set off with a nice sensible and very *large* gun.
Avon (with that pale skin) would go lobster-red in ten minutes flat, and ensure that his Suffering was spread as far and wide as possible.
Orac would find himself doing double duty as a drinks cooler.

This brings suddenly to mind a memory of a T-shirt I saw during one of my rare and fleeting visits to a con, quite a few years back. (I don't generally go to cons, but in this case I was delivering some stuff to a friend of mine who was selling her jewelry in the dealer's room.) It was printed front and back with cartoons of the B7 cast playing on the beach -- Servalan was burying Blake in the sand, with Dayna taking aim at her with a slingshot from behind a dune; Travis was running by with a surfboard; Soolin, in bikini and gunbelt, was playing with a beachball, etc. It was quite amusing. (Come to think of it, the cartoons may have been some of Leah Rosenthal's work, but I can't recall clearly enough to be certain.)
Another recollection from that con: there was a very nice middle-aged British chap who was kind enough to help me maneuver the big box of stuff I was carrying into the dealer's room, and I stopped and chatted with him for a few minutes afterwards. It was only as I was passing through the lobby on my way out of the building that I saw some photos of the con guests posted there and realized I'd just been talking to Terry Nation.
