Oh, and as for American public broadcasting allowing negative content about the government's handling of things, there are loads of such programmes of both the dramatic and the documentary sort. In fact, GREAT MILITARY BLUNDERS is a currently a popular series. No shyness or restriction in *this* country about self-critique (although with more and more of the media being taken over by conservative and Republican ownership, it's likely this will be either shifted toward anything Democratic and liberal, or else curtailed entirely in future).
