Now back from Redemption, and Greatly Calmed Down.

I have made an off-Lyst pledge to say nothing further on That Topic. Things were getting too heated on both sides and the opposing camps are clearly irreconcilable. Some minds (my own included) are not going to be changed on this one.

I also wish to make a public apology to Penny Dreadful for calling her 'infantile' and a 'boorish lout'. These words were not used in haste, they were if anything restrained, which only goes to show how intense the level of feeling had become. But it does the Lyst no favours if people are driven to such counter-productive language, even if driven by sheer frustration. My post was, in retrospect, inexcusable.

I do hope Penny has not unsubscribed. It was never, and never will be, my intention to drive her or anyone else off the Lyst, assuming I could ever do so.
