No, one bad line:-) From the description I've heard of the notes on the script (I haven't seen it myself), Ridge was responsible for dropping a few words from the script, which action IMO heightened the impact of that last scene.
Well don't keep us in suspense! :)
I'm not entirely sure about the etiquette, as the only place I have a direct quote is from a thread on The Other List. I'd rather leave it up to those who've actually seen the script in question as to whether they want to put their notes on a publicly archived part of the net. The relevant line is "Oh, Avon...", for those who remember the discussion. --
Now you've got my attention. Go on, enough with the coyness, tell us, tell us! Or are people on The Other List some how more privileged than us lesser mortals on Lysator: --)?

Turning serious for a moment - this list is publicly archived, and there is nothing barring people from quoting material from here in another forum. The Other List, in both current and previous incarnations, is not archived, and there is a specific requirement that members not quote material from other people's posts outside the list without their prior permission. Mentioning that I know something about what was on this particular copy of the script is fine, given that I've heard about it through other channels (i.e. yakking at cons) as well. A direct quote here from a post on The Other List without first checking with the author would be seriously naughty, and I don't have any other written reference. I'm not in a position to judge whether that material was intended for the public domain.
I'm not being a deliberate tease, I just don't want my wrist (rightfully) slapped by the other Citizens.
