To the best of my knowledge, "Auronar" is a plural noun, "auronae" (like "sapiens" in a species name) is an adjective.
Of what declension and case? If Latin, it looks like either a genitive singular or a nominative plural, whereas sapiens is a nominative singular. Admittedly, -ar is hardly a Latinate plural, but, if you're trying to produce an adjective to attach to homo, I don't think there's much choice of language.
I will buy Neil's H.auronensis.
