I find all the extra needless repetition of the same nine lines in the header of every message in the digest to be very distracting. These are the lines I am talking about:

Yes, I know. This now means my message will have the extra lines in it twice when I get my digest. But I wanted to make it clear which lines I was talking about.
These extra lines repeated with every message make the digest look ugly to me, plus for my painful arthritic hands it causes me to make many extra key movements that I normally wouldn't have to make. For instance, in a digest of 20 messages, I have to make twenty extra "page down" hits in order to read the entire digest. These nine lines fill my entire Email view screen. To the the truth, I haven't even been able to read the last two digests simply because I am so visually distracted by all the extra information which is totally needless to be repeated in a digest. I read the titles of the posts and start hitting "page down" to read the posts and then about half way through simply give up in frustration.
If there is a way to trim all that needless repetition in the digest version, I would sincerely appreciate it. Maybe there's some computing trick that can be used so that in the digests each header ends with "Precedence: bulk." I think trimming this needless repetition in the digests would be a great benefit to us digest people.
