This didn't seem to go through, so apologies if you get it several times.....
Dana wrote re my Case of the Disappearing Fanzine:
Yeah, but that's printzines (not to mention variables in type size and page count)--even if you just count stories that don't appear anywhere else, the Hermit Library and Liberated are very large "zines."
My guess is that the reduction represents both an increase in Web publishing and a decrease in fannish interest in B7. I don't know if anyone has any figures on the publication or sales of printzines in other fandoms, or for that matter other quantifiable measures of fan interest, such as sales of videos, attendance at cons, viewing figures for the satellite/cable repeats?
Although the Hermit library, Liberated and other sites are all great, a high proportion of the stories archived have been previously published in printzines, especially the longer stories.

I was watching 'Blake' and let the video go on past the credits - has anyone else seen the 'extra' scene lasting a few seconds - pulling away from (I presume) Gauda Prime with some spaceships going towards the planet?

I pulled out the tape and had a look, but I couldn't see what you meant... Do you mean after the logo at the end of the credit sequence? My tape ends there and goes to fuzz.
There's a bit with three whitish blobs flying towards the right of the screen towards the end of the credits, but that's part of the credit sequence for the whole season.
Which set of tapes do you have? Is it the Fabulous ones, or the earlier set? I'm absolutely intrigued by this!

This is the one with the strip picture across the back (and it was purely by accident I let it run on - I was mystified)

Same tape... Did you let it run on for ages?

What would the characters' fictional heroes be?
For starters
Tarrant - Biggles, Dan Dare etc
Vila - Mipps from the Dr Syn books (and whoever the 'gentleman thief' in the series was - I forget)
Servalan - (H Rider Haggard's) She/Ayesha __________________________________________________________________ Get your own FREE, personal Netscape Webmail account today at http://webmail.netscape.com/

Vila would like Flashman's style and success with women, but would not want to be in as much danger as Flashie usually ends up in.

Avon - Sydney Carton - not! (Tale of Two Cities)
