Have to disagree, and not just because this is the *one* relationship we have a canonical reference for: AVON: Why do you tay with Blake? VILA: I like him.

If you notice in Volcano, Vila is he one who brings up checking out the rumour about Blake, and is quite enthusiastic, too. No, Blake would be near-to-last on his eviction list, IMO. He doesn't like being in danger, true (but is no more enthusiastic about Avon or Tarrant supplying the danger), but at least with Blake he can feel *of* use, whereas certain Other People (whether I love em or not, the truth must be told) like to denigrate his worth to his face ...

And after all, he's an honest creature (well, in some ways :-)) and while Blake or Avon may be using him, isn't he using them as well?
