Oh, and let's not forget shows that were flawed (NOT B7, of course) that could have been done better (I keep having this urge to 'fix' Return of the Jedi and Phantom Menace [and I'm not up to it, believe me]).

Interesting you should mention this. I hated Phantom Menace-- and spent a week and a half rewriting it in my mind until I had a script 10 times better-- after all it's not enough to remove Jar-Jar, you have to make Darth Maul actually interesting and add elements of suspense that will keep people over the age of 9 wondering what will happen.
