so many and so cheap in comparative terms Annie. If you consider a British pound is roughly three NZ dollars and a US dollar is slightly over 2 NZ bucks...there's a whole world of chocolate goodies out there. hmmm, the exchange rate is one of the reasons people come to tour around NZ. I used to work in a canterbury of NZ shop, which sells or used to sell all the rugby jerseys esp for the national rugby team the All Blacks. UK tourists were our most frequent shoppers and best spenders becuase of the echange rate and you can't get the equivalent quality of clothing for the equivalent price in the UK - generally. In fact we send bundles over to the uk through our website and even get people ringing us up from there. The funniest was a scotsman who returned a year later to complain about a polo top which wasn't up to scratch. we replaced it for him. Currently heaps of clothing goes to ozzie customers via the internet because of the new GST laws over there...goods and services tax. the customer is often getting ripped off because the shops are plonking the tax on top of the price instead of including it. so it's cheaper in some instances to import it from NZ. Bizarre. Nathan.
