S'very quiet at the minute, isn't it? Are we all out suffering the Annual Christmas Shopping Torture, or just too full of the spirit of peace and goodwill and all that to think about doom'n'gloom?
Anyway, here's a little game, in honour of the season.
You're the BBC Christmas Fairy (goodness knows what you look like, probably Frankie Howerd and/or Julian Clary, but leave that for now). You have three - and *only* three - wishes to give out among Our Heroes. No budgetary or plausibility limits, but stuff they actually ended up with is out (so don't give Avon the Liberator, we already *know* what he did with it).
Who would you give the wishes to, and what would they be?

Peace on Earth (and the rest of the galaxy) and Good Will Towards Men. After all, that's all Blake really wants... And after the Federation has been replaced with a happy, peaceful, freedom-loving Something Else, I don't think the rest of them actually *need* any more wishes.
(It'd make for pretty terrible television, though, so it's just as well that it didn't happen...)
First, my sympathies to Joyce. Having spent Thursday reformatting & reinstalling, I can appreciate a little of what she's going through, tho. at least I had most of my stuff on disks. (I still feel lobotomized, though.) The one consolation is that not only do I now have LOTS of disk space to clutter up, but a problem with one of my speakers cleared up completely. (We're going to see, though, if I've configured Eudora correctly...)
Second, thanks so much to Minnie -- it's wonderful!
Third,

Vila: a week with all those virgins in red fur (it was red fur, wasn't it? I haven't yet come to that ep in my recent rewatching. &, come to think of it, it was virgins, too, right?), in the high-roller's suite in the best hotel in Freedom City -- & a very fast ship to get him & his harem out of there when the inevitable happens & he has to leave town in a hurry.
Jenna: a week on one of those fanfic planets where she & Blake have to pretend to be married, & the inevitable happens, & Blake realizes his deep, abiding -- oh, you know the rest.
Travis: one of those all-in-one tools (it's a hammer! it's a screwdriver! it's a wrench!) for those quick repairs -- & a collection of life-size Blake dolls to practice on when the inevitable happens & Travis has his gift re-engineered into one of those all-in-one weapons (it's a gun! it's a tazer! it's a laser-targeted guided missile launcher!).
feste who knows darn well that's not the way she'll show up on the list
