I am trying for the third time to make a post to Lysator after three weeks absence. My new servor program level only uses html and this is an attempt to get around it and use plain text. It's a darn nuisance.

Our old computer self-destructed before Thanksgiving and took everything with it--except for the Word files I had already saved on disk.

I am trying to learn a new system and it's frustrating. Plus I am dealing with all new equipment and that is hard. I have discovered bigger is NOT better. Our new monitor is much bigger than the old one, and I have discovered that Lisa's enlarged frame grabs do not look half as good on it. They are bigger which is nice, but they are blurrier and also much lighter, somewhat washed out looking. The thumbnail and collage sizes, however, are as nice as ever.

I lost about 50 saved images of Gareth/Blake and several of family as well as my list of favorites/bookmarks and my address book.

Some of you whom I talk to occasionally I need to have you contact me so I can get your Email addy.

My Email is still the same --JEB31538@cs.com. However, the 6.0 version of cs is html only so I am trying to use cs via Internet Explorer in an attempt to get plain text. If this message gets accepted, then I have succeeded.

I doubt I go back and reread the three weeks of list digests. But if you wrote me personally and have not heard back from me by now, please write again. I may have deleted your Email by accident as I was getting rid of junk and ads. It's been a little overwhelming dealing with everything computerwise and also having Thanksgiving and Christmas to deal with, too.
