Oh yes, but be fair, just about *everyone* got their turn at rescuing Fearless Leader, including people they never even met (Rashel, for instance).
Precisely! Blake needed rescuing more often, I think, than any of the gals. Although since Cally had 3 seasons, I could be wrong. Blake was rescued both by male and (as you just pointed out) female characters.

Stats from the Sevencyclopaedia:
Avon: captured 14 times, effected 7 rescues Blake: captured 10 times, effected 0 rescues (the 7Cyclo must be at fault here, since I can think of one right off the top of my head - Cally in SLD - and presumably there are others). Cally: captured 11 times, effected 3 rescues Dayna: captured 12 times, effected 4 rescues Gan: captured 5 times, effected 0 rescues Jenna: captured 6 times, effected 2 rescues Soolin: captured 1 time, effected 1 rescue Tarrant: captured 9 times, effected 0 listed rescues Vila: captured 12 times, effected 7 rescues.
As I said in an earlier post, it isn't always easy to define what constitutes a capture or a rescue, especially where a number of people are playing a part in the latter role. So I must stress that the stats above are *very* provisional and wide open to reinterpretation. (If you don't believe it's difficult, have a go yourself). The severe mismatch between captures and rescues lies in a number of reasons - it was not uncommon for one character to rescue several at once, rescues were sometimes effected by non-regular characters, and sometimes characters were able to rescue themselves. Not every rescue included above resulted from a capture (Vila rescued Tarrant from the underground complex on Terminal, but Tarrant could hardly be considered to have been 'captured' there). Simply teleporting someone to safety is not considered a rescue.
So we have only the very rawest data from which to work, and any conclusions can only be tentative at best. Still, we can draw up a league table for frequency of being captured, seasonally adjusted (ie; number of captures divided by the number of seasons the character appeared in. I use a figure of 1.5 for Gan, all the rest can be considered as whole numbers).
Dayna -6 Blake - 5 Tarrant - 4.5 Cally - 3.7 Avon - 3.5 Gan - 3.3 Jenna/Vila - 3 Soolin - 1
And again for the frequency with which they rescued others:
Dayna - 2 Vila/Avon - 1.75 Cally/Jenna/Soolin - 1 Blake - 0.5 Gan/Tarrant - 0
I must admit to being a bit suprised to see Dayna top both lists, though not to see Blake next in line as most likely to get captured. Otherwise it seems pretty close, though it wouldn't take much alteration of the number of situations considered to move individuals up or down the rankings, possibly quite drastically.
Actually I think these figures are next to useless, especially in the case of rescues (in compiling the Sevencyclopaedia I tended to overlook rescues, partly because they were often so difficult to define).
