I experienced the same phenomenon myself. I think you had to open the attachment itself to be fully affected. I checked with some of my email contacts to see if they'd receivd anything resembling this message, but they hadn't, so I assume I got lucky, too. But my system isn't old, it's fairly up to date. I just wish these virus-writing idiots would get theier smug heads out of their arses and find something more worthwhile to occupy their time.
