I had a great deal of difficulty sticking out the first few months myself, until I'd built enough friendships to have some sense of belonging. It has been worth the effort; but not every person is going to fit into every group.
Ah, a difference at last! I felt at home right away. In fact, I found people here nicer than I expected.
