What I think is making season two better is that Dylan is showing a darker side now he is faced with a real enemy. The fact that he is making nova bombs, which he politically opposed in all circumstances in season one, is something, and that he his keeping it secret from the crew is something else. I also like his relationship with Tyr, especially now it has taken a dark turn with Dylan locking away the remains.
