Me too. Find it hard to put my finger on exactly why. I guess part of it is sympathy for the way he's so obviously out of his depth. His attitude conicides with my own on a lot of things. Running away is a perfectly sensible solution<grin> And then he does get some of the best lines. I really like his interaction with Avon and the way it changes through the series.

I also usually like characters with an "edge." I like Methos in Highlander

My main reason for watching that show<grin> Also has a fine sense of self preservation and gets a load of great lines.
