Can't think why it would have to be; don't you intend there to be other scriptwriters as well? Soolin is Chris Boucher's, after all.
OTOH, if you insist, I rather like Nina, Gunn Sar, and Cato. Nina and Jarvik might be just as much fun to watch together as Blake and Avon - talk about your power struggle! Throw in Dorran and Kate, they should be fun together. The only big drawback I see, is that for the annoying little computer, you have to use Moloch.
