Arrrghhh! For me, it's always been the botanical problem on Xena! I can buy the forested setting; in ancient times, before the occupants completely stripped the landscape, Greece sported some pretty respectible woodlands. But every time I see one of those damned Cyathia tree ferns in the background, it jars me clean out of suspension of disbelief. Every last species of tree fern grows either in the tropics or the Southern Hemisphere.
