All too true. For example, there's a gigantic controversy raging right now in the US between journalists and the widow of racing driver Dale Erhart over the use of the post-mortem photographs. All other considerations aside, there's a good chance she will lose the fight to keep them from being published. On the other side of the coin, these same laws safeguard corporations and agencies from blocking the release of incriminating photographs that prove their abuses toward the public. It's all part of the balancing act known as a free society.
