And the whole thing with Servalan (though I'm always amused by the fact that they appear to have been *totally* blind to each other's sex appeal right up until the minute Blake and Travis aren't there to distract their attention).
Perhaps that's one of the reasons I don't think there was much passion on his side. I've always had the opinion that when he suddenly realised she actually was attracted to him, he'd turn the charm on and off to get what he needed (such as buying time) and then get the hell away. To me the shove he gave her after the first kiss was his way of stating he'd only kissed her to make his rejection of her charms more total and absolute. Which isn't to say he didn't respect and admire her-- rather in the way a FBI profiler might become intrigued by the sociopath he's tracking. Servalan, OTOH, never noticed Avon while Blake was around because as far as she was concerned, Blake was their Undisputed Leader. And Servalan would NEVER pay attention to any but the top banana. She was attracted to both Avon and Tarrant-- but then, Avon was never the *official* leader and thus didn't completely overshadow Tarrant in her eyes. JMO, and I'd love to hear others, Helen
