I just heard this from a friend on the newsgroup and have no idea if it's accurate - by the time I'd checked, the event would be past, so I pass it on for whatever it's worth.
"for anyone intrested: Avon (aka Paul Darrow) will be visiting Farnborough town center (the town one near Aldershot) on 2 June 2001 at the science fiction fair from 12.00 noon."
